Elect Davenport to Cedar Rapids School Board

Kerri Davenport is running for the at-large seat on the Cedar Rapids School Board, and she has my vote. I have known Kerri personally for many years and can attest to her ability to work collaboratively with people who may have opinions and ideas that differ from her own. Kerri says, "Parents need to be regarded as the most important entity in the education and general welfare of students in our district." She wants to expand opportunities for the voices of parents and community members to be heard by revisiting current policy on how the board interacts with the public.
