With admiration after a year of Hai Huynh’s service as a Coralville City Council member, I invite you to celebrate her superb leadership with me.
At every council meeting, Hai furthers her platform priorities of COVID relief, affordable housing, supporting families, community mobility, racial and economic justice and climate action, outlined in detail on her website haiforcoralville.com
At the wonderful Juneteenth event by the Iowa Freedom Riders, Hai was there listening and serving. At a September wage action, it was Hai along with Mazahir Salih, Executive Director of the Center for Worker Justice, who achieved economic justice for the mistreated Coralville worker. When I expressed infrastructure concerns to our council about our new community police review board, I saw Hai at the very next meeting, taking notes and making connections to ensure that the council is establishing a review board that works to protect and represent all Coralville residents.
I extend my gratitude to Hai Huynh for her extraordinary service and invite you to join me in voting for her on Nov. 2. Hai’s vision for Coralville acknowledges both our strengths and our challenges. I am proud to work alongside her for a better Coralville
