David William Dutton, 51, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo following a long battle with MS.
David was born Oct. 5, 1970, to Sherian and Dueane Dutton in Casper, Wyo. He graduated from Escalante High School, Escalante, Utah, in 1989.
David married Jennifer Day in 1992 in Casper, Wyo.
David worked for the sawmill in Utah.
David and Jennifer moved to Cedar Rapids in 1993, where he worked security for Nighthawk Security Company.
David enjoyed fishing, watching his kids grow up, and especially enjoyed his grandkids.
David is survived by his parents, Sherian and Dueane; his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Stormy (Bradley); son, Cody; his grandchildren, Brystol, Sawyer and Ellie; and siblings, Terry, Rhonda, Brian and Melissa, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.
