Phyllis Vesely, 91, passed away Oct. 17, 2021. Phyllis' family will receive guests at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, 2720 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 23. Phyllis will then be laid to rest with a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery
in Iowa City.
Surviving Phyllis are her nieces and nephews, Donald Vesely, Kendra Vesely, Linda Corso, Ted Vesely and Janet Singleman; and great-nieces and -nephews.
Sadly, Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna; brothers, Floyd (Ruby) Vesely, Harold (Dorothy) Vesely and Kenneth (Dolores) Vesely; sister, Maxine Vesely; and nephew, Robert Vesely.
