Strnad brings unselfish service to Marion council

Back a few years, when I decided not to seek another term on the Marion City Council (actually my second retirement). I encouraged Randy Strnad to seek the at-large seat.
Why? Randy has similar to my views on Marion — unnecessary spending, listening to the taxpayers and using plain old commons sense.
I know that following the derecho, Randy was out there clearing streets, cutting branches — helping folks regain some semblance of order. (All I did was make ice cubes.)
If he’s elected to another term he will continue his unselfish service to the city. I urge voters to help him with his re-election.
