We can't remember a time when we didn't know Dale Todd. He's been a community connector, an activist, an innovator and a game changer in Cedar Rapids for more 30 years.
Thanks in large part to Dale, there is now an updated and more nutritious Hy-Vee store on First Avenue. Thanks in large part to Dale, LGBTQ rights are now legally embraced here. And now, thanks in large part to Dale, Cedar Lake is evolving into a clean and beautiful tourist destination.
Not to mention the fact that Dale and his wife, Sara, have been the most amazing advocates for their son, Adam, who has epilepsy.
We are unabashedly behind Dale for his Cedar Rapids City Council seat once again. He has tirelessly worked for our community for decades — and will continue to do so.
Dale has paved the way for others here. Maybe you just don't realize it yet.
To quote Dale's muse, Bruce Springsteen: "Mister, I ain't no boy. No. I'm a man. And I believe in a Promised Land."
