Sarah Lemira Collett passed away at her home on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, at the age of 102.
She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Hudson of Wellman and Wanda Van Dee of Marion; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Alice Hootman of Sigourney.
Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Women's Guild or Essence of Life Hospice.
