CORALVILLE — A woman handed a bank teller a life-threatening note during a Coralville robbery Tuesday, police said.
At about 3 p.m., Yevette A. Bradley, 49, of West Des Moines, approached the counter at Wells Fargo Bank, at 327 Second St., and gave the teller a handwritten note demanding money. Bradley made a threat of murder if her demand was not met, according to a criminal complaint.
While still at the teller’s window, she was taken into custody by police who identified her by clothing matching the description of the suspect provided to officers.
Bradley has been charged with second-degree robbery, a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. She is being held in the Johnson County Jail on $15,000 cash or surety bond.
