Mary Jane Jones, 91, passed away peacefully on Sept. 29, 2021, at UnityPoint Health-St Luke's Living Center West. A Celebration
of Life will be held from 4 to
7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel.
Mary was born on June 22, 1930, to Robert and Helen Goodyear in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was married to Gerald Mullin for over 20 years. She later married William Jones. Mary enjoyed a long career at the Penny Saver and later in the deli at Hy-Vee before retiring. Mary loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially on the holidays. She loved to color with her many friends. Mary loved people and had many friends and family who adored her. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Lynne Mullin, Scott Mullin, Mark (Tammy) Mullin, Jesse (Jeanne) Jones of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Diane (Kenny) Mann of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, William; son, Jeffery Jones; daughter, Debra Havlicek; grandson, Chad Boots; daughter-in-law, Kathie Mullin; and two great-grandchildren.
