LOIS HELENA (JUNGE) SCHLOTTERBECK

Lois Helena (Junge) Schlotterbeck, 97, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at the Keystone Nursing Care Center with her family at her side.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Van Horne with the Rev. B. Andrew Wright officiating. Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday.
Lois was born on Dec. 9, 1923, in Benton County, the daughter of Louie and Emma (Seeck) Junge. She attended country school North of Keystone. Lois was united in marriage to Delmar Schlotterbeck on June 25, 1943, at the St. John Lutheran Parsonage in Keystone. Delmar and Lois farmed their entire married life, retiring in 1976. Her first love was fishing, and she also enjoyed playing cards, sewing, bowling, dancing, and family get-togethers. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone, the Keystone Turnerettes and the Keystone American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Darwin Schlotterbeck; daughters, Cheryl (Steve) Raub, Beverly Stafford, Anita (Tom) Miller and Denise (Randy) Nolan; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie, Bill, Eric, Danny, Sheila, Jesse, Sarah, Kendall, Lindsay and Wyatt; four stepgrandchildren, Matt, Amy, Crystal and Brandon; 10 great-grandchildren, Trevor, Elizabeth, Owen, Theo, Griffin, Mason, Fox, Luna, Milo and Ava; six stepgreat-grandchildren, Brennan, Landon, Megan, Eric, Gavin and Jay; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Irvin Junge; and her sister, Marilyn Rieder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delmar; son-in-law, David Stafford; sister. Dorothy Petersen; brother, Curtis Junge; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
