Tiffany O’Donnell is a leader for everyone

As most Cedar Rapidians know, on Nov. 2 we will be electing a mayor to lead our city forward in one of the most important chapters of its history.
One candidate especially resonates with me and that is Tiffany O’Donnell. Having had the privilege to be a part of our business community for the last 20-plus years, I have met many great leaders and people who are passionate about our city. Tiffany personifies those two traits and has an unbridled love for Cedar Rapids. Tiffany starts from a place where all things are possible. She is strategic, she is an executor, but she is also a collaborator and uses those skills to advance a vision. She has been fearless in advocating for women’s leadership as the CEO of the global organization Women Lead Change and will continue that important work as mayor.
However, make no mistake, Tiffany is an advocate for everyone. She vigorously seeks out diverse and unique voices, she questions, she listens, and she learns. She understands that it takes everyone having a voice to arrive at better solutions. We need someone as mayor who has the servant leadership traits that Tiffany has but also possesses the business acumen to have Cedar Rapids thrive and become the vibrant, growing, cutting edge and inclusive community we all call home.
