Iowa high school football scores: How the ranked teams fared in Week 6
Class 5A featured 4 top-10 matchups

There were big-time games all over the state in Week 6 of Iowa high school football, particularly in Class 5A.
The state’s largest class had four top-10 matchups Friday, one in Eastern Iowa as second-ranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy made a statement with a 42-14 win over No. 7 Cedar Falls at Kingston Stadium, and three in Central Iowa.
Every other class saw at least one meeting between ranked teams this week, with a total of 11 in the seven classes.
Here’s how the 70 teams ranked in the Gazette poll fared Friday night.
