Judith "Judy" Glee Frana, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at home. Services: 5 p.m. Thursday at Teahen Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Due to concerns over the novel coronavirus, it is recommended that family members and friends wear a mask to the funeral event.
Judy is survived by her husband, Terry of Cedar Rapids; daughters, Amber (Tom) VanDeusen of Springville and Angie (Zach) Pettit of Shellsburg; step-son, James Frana of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Desiree Ohden of Chandler, Ariz., Cody Holmes of Springville, Keegan Shaffer of Shellsburg, Kirsten and Kingston Pettit, both of Shellsburg, and Liam Frana of Marion; great-grandson, Thomas Holmes of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Barbara (Mike) Briggs of Webster City and Candace (Chuck) Allen of Mount Vernon; and brothers, Richard (Debbie) Ohden of Plant City, Fla., and Randy Davis of Orick, Mo..
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jay Amundson; dad, Richard Ohden; mom, Wyllis "Billie" Brooks; and stepmoms, Joyce Zesinger and Vera Ohden.
Judy was born Feb. 29, 1956, in Iowa City, the daughter of Richard and Wyllis "Bille" Ohden. On Feb. 14, 2001, she married Terry Frana in Cedar Rapids.
Judy liked cooking and gardening. She enjoyed having fun and always had a smile on her face. Judy was generous and kind, and would do anything for anybody. She enjoyed meeting new people, going to garage sales and boating. Above all, Judy loved her family and friends more than anything and she will be missed.
