Sally Elizabeth Ann Wolcott, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021. Private family burial will take place at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Sally was born on May 9, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Duayne and Elizabeth (Sommer) Wolcott. She graduated from Prairie High School. Sally worked at Rockwell Collins for many years before her retirement in 1980. She loved playing Wii bowling, going fishing, relaxing with coloring books and spending time with friends. Above all else, family was most important to Sally.
Survivors include her sister, Diane Ely of Cedar Rapids; niece, Joan Beatty of Shellsburg, Iowa; nephew, John (Julie) Ely of Cedar Rapids; nieces, Wendy Shickles of Plato, Mo., and Kathy Ely of Cedar Rapids; 10 great-nieces and -nephews; eight great-great-nieces and -nephews; and special friends, Tasha TerBeek, Susy Meyer and Alexandrea Neilsen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Duayne and Elizabeth Wolcott; and brother-in-law, Tom Ely.
