69 years; son, Kevin Kacena of Iowa City; daughters, Pam Rockafellow of North Liberty, Sharon Lake (Bill) of Iowa City and Linda Seydel of Iowa City; grandchildren, Leigha Rios (Brad) of North Liberty, Ryan Rockafellow (Emily) of North Liberty, Kristene Lake (Nate) of Des Moines, Kelly Carlson (Chris) of Tiffin, Michelle Greve (Jason) of Coralville, Bob Lake (Daniella) of Swisher, Colton Seydel (Abby) of Solon and Anna Seydel (Nathan) of Kansas City, Mo.; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Karen Diltz of Runnells, Iowa.
Bob was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jim and Stan Kacena.
A greeting is scheduled for family and friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at The Kirkwood Room, 515 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City (next to Lensing Funeral Service). Private inurnment will be in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank the staff at Iowa City Hospice and Legacy Pointe who provided compassionate end-of-life care.
