Jewell suffered torn pectoral muscle Sunday in win at Jacksonville

Linebacker Josey Jewell, formerly a star at Iowa, suffered a torn pectoral muscle in the Denver Broncos’ win at Jacksonville Sunday and will be out for the rest of the season.
The fourth-year pro from Decorah has 217 career tackles. He had three in the Broncos’ 23-13 win over the Jaguars.
Jewell started all 16 games for Denver last season and has 30 career starts.
