Betty J. Parmer, 85, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at
her home surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Deb (Bob) Cumming, Cathi (Kels) Kelsey, Kim (Matt) Matias and Loree Parmer; sons, Ted Parmer and Phil Parmer; a brother, Bill Wright; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; along with a very large extended family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents; a great-granddaughter; two brothers; and three sisters.
Betty was born Jan. 30, 1936, in Fayetteville, Ark., to parents Forrest and Mamie Wright. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
