Dennis Dee Thompson (a.k.a. D.T.) passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021. Dennis was born on July 24, 1951, the son of William "Bill" and Carol Lee (Walton) Thompson.
Survivors include a daughter. Misty (Thompson) Carson; a son, Michael Thompson; three grandchildren, Shane (Karlee) Carson, Kyler Henderson and Emmy Thompson; two great-grandchildren, Gannon and Rowen Carson; a sister, Barb Brislawn; an aunt, Bonnie Walton; special brothers, Dusty (Diane) Swyers and Mike Winslow; as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Denny's life's career was driving semis; however, the true love of his life was riding his Harley with his brothers. He had many different hobbies in his life that ranged from taking fishing trips to Canada, to playing on the men's softball league for Troy Mills (where he was known for hitting home runs!). In his later years, he was on a bowling league. DT was a brother to a few and friend to many.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Suzette Sherrets; his grandparents, Carl and Wilma Walton; an aunt, Zona (Gene) Holub; and an uncle, Coy Walton.
