Kevin Jay McKee, 57, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home conducted by Certified Celebrant Amy Hart.
Kevin was born Nov. 1, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, the son of John "Jack" and Karen (Witmer) McKee. He graduated from Anamosa High School in Anamosa, Iowa. Kevin worked as a truck driver for Hawkeye Ready Mix and First Fleet Trucking. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching the cooking channel on TV. Kevin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kevin is survived and lovingly remembered by his significant other, Betty Burkholder of Marion; two sons, Dakota and Jesse McKee, both of Marion; and brother, Kelly (Lori) McKee of Las Cruces, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents.
