1 killed, 1 injured in crash near Tiffin
TIFFIN — One person was killed and another injured when a vehicle went off the road and hit a tree Friday morning west of Tiffin.
Ychen Huang, 65, of Coralville, died in the 7:53 a.m. crash.
The driver, Chou-Long Huang, 64, of Coralville, was injured and transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, the Iowa State Patrol reported.
The Huang vehicle was headed north on Half Moon Avenue when it failed to stop at the stop sign at Highway 6. It continued through the intersection, left the roadway and struck a tree, the patrol said.
