Iowa leaders demand recognition

It must drive Gov. Kim Reynolds and the Legislature crazy that the mainstream media refuses to highlight their efforts to project red cred.

The media highlights the governors of Texas and Florida for banning mask mandates but ignore our governor’s similar dictates.

Our Legislature has fought hard to allow Iowans to: carry guns without permits; make voting more difficult; provide immunity for police from prosecution; protect drivers who hit protesters; refuse to ban racial profiling; make “rioting” a felony; and move toward banning abortion.

I am tired of the media only paying attention to Iowa once every four years. It is time for “Iowa Nice” to get the recognition it is due.
