DOUGLAS E. HORNER

Douglas E. Horner, 64, of Bellevue, passed away at his home on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021. There will be no services.
Doug was born July 7, 1957, to Lowell and Dorothy Nyberg Horner in Chicago, Ill. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Pate on July 18, 1981, in Toronto, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; son, James (Denise) Burton of Lancaster, Wis.; daughters, Luisa (Brent) Blumer of Moline, Ill., and Angela (Matt) Burton of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Dan (Dawn) of New Castle, Colo., and Dean (Wendy) of Amana, Iowa; sister, Dawn (Kevin) Edler of Wheatland; 11 grandchildren;and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Dacota; and brother, Dave.
Doug served his country in the Marines and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by many.
