Help survey bumble bees this weekend at Central Park in Jones County
JONES COUNTY — Buzz on over to Central Park in Jones County this weekend and be a citizen scientist while helping survey the park’s bumble bees.
Displays and information on area bumble bees and instructions on how to participate in the bumble bee survey will be on display at the Central Park Nature Center on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Links to educational videos, access to bumble bee identification tools, downloadable bumble bee ID apps, and more can be found at www.jonescountyiowa.gov/conservation/virtual_programs/
