rank of Sergeant.
He owned and operated his own

Most recently, Charles has been a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Newton. He was also a member of the American Legion in Newton.
He and his family enjoyed watching the planes land and take off at the local airport. Charles pursued and obtained his pilot's license, eventually purchasing his own private plane so the family could continue to enjoy this hobby together.
