Darrell Duran Perry, 52, of Marion, Iowa, passed away at his home in Marion, Iowa, on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
All services have been postponed because of unforeseen circumstances. There will be an interment and service in Winchester, Ky., at a later date.
Darrell was born on Feb. 2, 1969, in Lexington, Ky. He is the son of Darrell E. and the late Helen (Wireman) Perry. Darrell was employed as an electronic technician at Rockwell Collins for many years. Darrell loved to go camping, fishing, as well as hanging with his family and friends, especially the loves of his life, his daughter, Breanna and his granddaughter, Ava. He loved listening to music, he was a humble man with a huge heart that would do anything for you. He loved to grow peppers and cherry tomatoes for his granddaughter, Ava. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. Darrell had a strong faith.
Those left to cherish Darrell's Memory are his daughter, Breanna (Michael Kimball) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his granddaughter, Ava; his father, Darrell E. Perry of Lexington, Ky.; his significant other, Kristine Brown of Marion; numerous aunts, uncles, friends and colleagues.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made in Darrell's name to a scholarship fund for his granddaughter, Ava.
