Iowa high school fall golf 2021: Important dates to know

From the first day of practice to the state tournament with notable competitions in between, here are some important dates for the 2021 high school fall golf season.

Aug. 9: First official day of practice.

Aug. 12: First day of competition; MVC Super Meet at Gardner Golf Course

Aug. 16: Linn-Mar Invitational at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion; Iowa City West Invitational at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course in Riverside

Aug. 19: Cedar Rapids Washington Invitational at Cedar Rapids Country Club

Sept. 7: CRANDIC Meet at Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville

Sept. 13: MVC first-round divisionals; Valley at St. Andrews Golf Course in Cedar Rapids and Mississippi at Brown Deer

Sept. 27: MVC second-round divisionals; Mississippi at Hunters Ridge and Valley at Bunker Hill Golf Course in Dubuque

Oct. 5: Class 4A district meets

Oct. 8-9: Class 4A state meet at Beaver Hills Country Club in Cedar Falls
