Six Little Words

This is the last word on writing your memoir in six words - at least from me and at least for a while.
I revisited the topic I first addressed March 24 in today's Ramblin' column in The Gazette.
I heard from a lot of Eastern Iowa readers but not as many as I'd hope. My only thought is that a lot of folks thought about it for a while, came up with something in their heads and, for some reason, decided not to send them in. Because, from what I can tell, this has been a pretty active activity since it appeared on NPR a couple of months ago.
As Pete Larson of Cedar Rapids suggests in today's column, this writing your life in six words is very similar to chosing your final words to be engraved on a tombstone. He even addresses a newspaper columnist, or reporter, or editor, or anyone involved in the media when he suggests that tombstone could read "I hate deadlines."
So, as a sign off on "six little words" that's another exercise for you. What words would you put on your tombstone?
