Greatest Christmas Songs?

Dec. 2, 2008 2:00 pm
Last week's short and simple blog post asking for your opinions on Christmas music drew more reader comments than any other single post since I started this thing roughly a year ago. And, best of all, it provided ample fodder for my Sunday column. Thanks to all who took part.
As a follow up, I found this list of the top 101 greatest Christmas songs of all time compiled by WCBS FM in New York City. Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" tops the list, with the Boss' version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" at No. 2.
I also found a very different list released in 2004 by VH1, which polled its viewers to create a top 10 list of Christmas favorites. The No.1 song was "Fairytale of New York" by The Pogues.
Make up your own list and share.
Never heard "Fairytale of New York?" Click below.
