AUGUSTA, Ga. -- This is written at 8:10 a.m., Iowa time, 40 minutes from Zach Johnson's tee time.
Speaking of Iowa, the photo is of Donnellson, Iowa. Why? I really couldn't say.
The weather is once again ideal today at Augusta National, at least so far. It's sunny, comfortable, and there's little wind. Conditions seem to be in place for Johnson to score well this morning/early afternoon if he seizes the day. He begins his second round at 2-under-par.
Howevere, a storm system reportedly could roll in here early in the afternoon, with more wind expected in the afternoon. All the better for those with morning starts to cash in, eh?
Fifty-year-old Larry Mize, who carded a 67 Thursday, is off to a wild start. He double-bogeyed the first hole, birdied the next two, then bogeyed No. 4. There's a par out there somewhere for you, Larry.
All that said, here's today's poll question. No fair answering it after Tiger's round is over.
