A little plug for a nice Daily Iowan photo/audio feature

Nine University of Iowa student-athletes, their tattoos, and what their ink represents. Does that sound like an interesting concept?
It does to me. I wish I'd thought of it first.
I'm not a tattoo person. They don't bother me. It' s not like they cause body odor or entice raccoons. They're just not my thing. I wish I had a thing.
Some tattoos are just for fun or flair. Some are really poor choices. But others are intensely personal. It's like the old Rod Stewart song. Every picture tells a story.
In this six-minute photo/audio feature by the Daily Iowan's Julie Koehn and Lindsey Walters (with photos from DI staffers), we see and hear from people like Brent Metcalf of the Hawkeyes' wrestling team, football players Ricky Stanzi and Pat Angerer, track sprinter Verity Hicks and basketball player Jarryd Cole on their tattoos and what they mean to them.
Check out Amie Kiehn's DI story that accompanies the multimedia feature, too.
