All eyes on Hawkeyes basketball this Dec. 1 ... just kidding

Starting times for the 11 games in the ever-exciting Big Ten/ACC Challenge were announced Wednesday, and Iowa didn't fare very well for its Dec. 1 home game against Virginia Tech.
First of all, Virginia Tech isn't exactly a basketball school. (OK, wise guys, I know you'll say neither is Iowa).
Secondly, 8:30? Ugh.
Thirdly, Michigan State plays at North Carolina at 8 p.m. that night on ESPN. The Va. Tech-Iowa game is on ESPN2.
The guess here is that 98.4 percent of the American homes watching one of those two games being played (mostly) simultaneously will opt for MSU-UNC instead of the Hokies and Hawkeyes.
