WAKEFIELD, KS - Kristin Abigail Weers and Jason (Jay) Mathew Kloft, both of Wakefield, KS, announce their engagement.
Kristin is the daughter of Dennis and Julie Weers of Anamosa, IA. Jay is the son of Pat and Julie Knake of Bellevue, IA; and the late Dennis Kloft, formerly of Maquoketa, IA.
Kristin graduated from Iowa State University. She is employed as a public lands biologist technician for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
Jay also graduated from Iowa State University. He is employed as a wildlife disease biologist for the United States Department of Agriculture.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on September 5. 2009, during a 6 p.m. ceremony at Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Dubuque, IA.
