The city of Coralville will host an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall on its preliminary plans for the area south of Fifth Street ravaged by last year's flood.
The event will be a chance for the public to see the plans and provide feedback. Ideas include recreational, entertainment and commercial opportunities.
The area covers about 60 acres south of Fifth Street between the Iowa River and Fourth Avenue.
