Let God’s laws prevail in legislation
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 5, 2009 12:35 am
If the proposed Freedom of Choice Act is passed, will it mean:
1. Closing religious-supported hospitals that would not perform abortions?
2. Nurses and doctors losing their jobs because they refuse to perform abortions?
3. The degradation of our country's moral standards?
We must answer to God for our actions. What is the difference between the killing of unborn children today and the babies who were killed by the German Nazis during World War II? At that time, we considered the killing of those Jewish children wrong. Abortion also must be wrong.
Let our voices be heard. Let God's laws prevail. There are many people who would be overjoyed to adopt
unwanted babies.
Our Constitution was based on religious principles that were adopted by our forefathers. They were religious people and obeyed God's laws.
If you care about the moral good of our country, please e-mail our congressmen, both Republican and Democrat, to vote against the passage of this Freedom of Choice Act.
