If Democrats support something, be against it
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 9, 2009 12:38 am
The events in Washington over the past five months should provide a handy guideline for those who care about the future of the republic, as follows:
1.) If Barack Obama is for it, be against it.
2.) If Harry Reid is for it, be against it.
3.) If the aspiring empress of the world, Nancy Pelosi, is for it, be against it 10 times over.
Also, the so-called Blue Dog Democrats showed a little backbone for a short time, but (predictably) they decided to roll over so that Pelosi could scratch their tummy and say, “Good puppy, expect a nice treat at election time.”
