KEYSTONE, IA - Darwin and Ruth Oehlerich are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 4 to 7 p.m., and a dance following on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Keystone Turner Hall in Keystone.
The couple exchanged wedding vows on August 15, 1959, at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall, IA.
The event will be hosted by their children: Kim (Mike) Mollenhauer of Forest City, Kathy (Dan) Stockdale of Iowa Falls, and Kristi (Dave) Pyburn of Ankeny. They have eight grandchildren: Abby and Jenna Mollenhauer; Brandon, Trevor and Austin Stockdale; and Jakob, Joshua, and Justin Pyburn.
