Kernels come back for win at Clinton, take two of three in series
Cedar Rapids spotted Clinton a 3-0 lead after an inning Tuesday night, then roared back for a 6-3 victory and a 3-1 decision in the four-game series.
Gabe Jacobo and Darwin Perez each homered and doubled for the Kernels and both drove in two runs. Starter Buddy Boshers (3-1) worked five innings for the win.
