Leadership, respect part of Johnson’s appeal

I recommend Anne Johnson for Iowa City school board. I have worked with Anne for over five years at Pearson, a leading international education and testing company. As program manager, Anne has demonstrated outstanding program management skills and abilities including strategic planning, new program startup and implementation, and ongoing operational and financial management.

Anne is a quick-study and has excellent analytical skills and grasp of financial concepts and numbers in dealing with complex projects - particularly important given the issues the school board faces. She also has excellent presentation and listening skills.

Anne is a natural leader and commands respect of colleagues and customers alike. She has a high energy level and drive that produce results, and has a passion for education and the school district's mission.
