Small businesses should be nurtured

Small business creates 75 percent of the jobs in this country, some say 80 percent. This being the case, should not every level of government be vigorously adopting policies that encourage and nurture small business? Should not every level of government be scrapping policies that burden and penalize small business? Yes, of course.
Well, expecting today's government to focus on this notion of common sense is no easy task. All we can do is make our voices heard loud, clear and relentlessly. Election time is never that far away.
