CHARLOTTE, NC - James and Janet Saunders of Charlotte, NC celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family lunch on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at their residence.
The event was hosted by their children.
The former Janet Votroubek and James Saunders were married August 29, 1959, at the home of Judge Charles Penningroth in Cedar Rapids.
Their three children are, Brian, and his wife, Dianne of Lincolnton, NC; Jill Saunders; and Kevin, and his wife, Susan of Dawsonville, GA. Their two step-grandchildren are, Matt Morkel and Lindsay Morkel, both of Georgia.
