People’s health versus corporate profits

A big thanks to Jay Kacena for his Sept. 1 letter (“Let insurance experts worry about the risks”). Although unintended, I'm sure, it was the perfect argument for a government option for health care coverage.
His allegations that pre-existing conditions should not be covered by private insurance is the status quo. The government option would care for these people. Again, it's people's health versus corporate profits.
