Linn-Mar needs Crawford’s experience
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Sep. 6, 2009 12:00 am
I was an opponent of Bob Crawford in the 2006 Linn-Mar School Board election and am writing today to endorse him in this year's election. 2009 brings different circumstances and needs.
Specifically, I think the board needs the expertise of Bob, who has served the Linn-Mar District with dedication and sensibility for nearly a decade. With two other current board members not running for re-election, the board needs someone who understands the workings of the district as well as the complexity of school funding that, with our state's budget concerns, is likely to become even more of a challenge.
Bob has served as both vice-president and president of the board and through this leadership has shown a great understanding of how the district operates and communicates well with the public.
