Obama speech flap shows double standard

Good grief. I see that some people are trying create a hubbub about President Obama's message to school children on Tuesday. They don't want their children subjected to this.
I have two questions for these folks. When George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush made similar presentations to school children, did you complain and try to save your children from having to hear those messages? If not, why not? If you honestly answer the second question, that might be an important education for you. Your double standard is showing.
