Zach Johnson matches the round of the day at PGA Tour playoff event

Zach Johnson shot himself into contention at the PGA Tour's BMW Championship in Lemont, Ill., Friday with a 6-under-par 65.
It tied John Rollins for the day's best round of the 69 players in the tourney. Johnson had six birdies, no bogeys. He has a 4-under 138 through 36 holes.
The Cedar Rapids native went from a tie for 47th place nto a tie for eighth in the third of four FedExCup playoff events, three shots behind Mark Wilson and Tiger Woods.
Johnson entered this tourney fourth in the FedExCup standings. He was already guaranteed a spot in the Tour Championship in two weeks, for the top 30 in the standings after the BMW ends Sunday.
