True freshmen are off limits for interviews at the University of Iowa (Kirk Ferentz's policy, I've fought it and I'll never win, so there it is).
But the next-best thing after Saturday's 35-3 victory over Iowa State is redshirt freshman running back Adam Robinson, who carried 15 times for 69 yards.
After averaging 2.8 yards on 31 carries last week against Northern Iowa, the Hawkeyes averaged 5.5 yards on 35 attempts against the Cyclones.
Coach Kirk Ferentz said after the game that the Robinson/Wegher combo will roll next week against Arizona. Wegher had 101 yards on 15 carries and scored his first college TD.
