Iowa OL Dace Richardson worked at Boston's in Iowa City this summer for a little extra money.
Interesting story that was first told Sunday night during Kirk Ferentz's TV show by UI videographer/camera guy Jerry Palmer.
He talks Boston's, being a senior on an offensive line that could use every bit of steadiness it can get, the timeout he called in the first half against ISU as the playclock wound down and the edge he's playing with this season and moving inside to guard, which he did last Saturday for the first time in a game.
He doesn't think about his knee anymore except for preemptive icing.
By the way, he remembers some of Boston's menu.
Iowa OL Dace Richardson worked at Boston's in Iowa City this summer for a little extra money. I'm guessing nobody sent anything back to the kitchen with a 6-6, 305-pound waiter. (Gazette file)
