Vast scientific evidence supports evolution fact
Despite what Andrew Buncce says in his Sept. 17 letter, evolution is a fact. It was arrived at through an exhaustive and diligent search for the truth. It is supported by the vast weight of scientific evidence.
If evidence for something is overwhelming, it is true. Everything in the universe evolves, from the mightiest galaxy to the tiniest flu virus. The process of evolution goes on every day around us. For example, the selective breeding of livestock, racehorses and show dogs is simply controlled evolution.
The world's museums are overflowing with fossil evidence of evolution. Buncce should visit the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. The 1,300 fossils in the “Evolving Planet” exhibit clearly explain and prove evolution.
