This letter was sent forth by the University of Iowa sports information department Monday:

Please limit tailgating to one parking space and do not block the path for other vehicles to park.  Tables, chairs, tents and other tailgating items must be immediately adjacent to the front or rear of the vehicle.  Tailgating is not permitted in roadways, parking lot drive lanes or Fire Lanes.  Parking lot patrons may not interfere with, or obstruct, another guest's vehicle from being parked in a designated parking space.  Tailgating items in violation of the policy will be moved or dismantled by law enforcement and or parking lot attendants.  Finally, remember to clean the area before departing.

Also, please do not bring alcoholic beverages or those beanbag games to your tailgates.
