Humane Society’s people deserve better

Because of circumstances beyond my control, I have not been able to volunteer at the Cedar Valley Humane Society for some time. However, I have worked with Sandy LaBaw and Susan Manson. I know they possess a soundness of character of the highest order and that they surround themselves with people who share that same soundness. I need not know the staff and volunteers there personally to hold them in the highest esteem.
The callousness with which the board of directors has acted toward these people leaves no doubt in my mind as to the fate of the animals. Excuse me while I go get very, very sick.
