Health care plan’s mandate a deal breaker
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Oct. 6, 2009 12:10 am
The Senate Finance Committee recently released its plan with no public option, but a mandate that every person has to buy coverage. I will gladly pay for health care if there is a public option. But, I refuse to be mandated to buy insurance when I know that the only choice is a bunch of huge corporations. How is that choice? That is a mandate for corporations to suck more wealth from our government, and our people, into their coffers.
